Menu

At the top left of the page you'll find a small bar that you can swipe it by hovering over it or clicking it and then you will see a side menu.

  • Arabic mode
    • This tab leads you to "Arabic language mode" where you'll find arabic system which has diffrent results and options.
  • About program
    • This tab leads you to a page where you'll find Information about this program, and you will find some information about the developer too.
  • Sections tabs
    • Next four tabs leads you to the results sections at "Advanced section".
  • Tips Pages
    • This tab takes you to the "Tips page" where you'll find tips on using this program. And it's the same page that you're seeing right now.

Arabic mode

Why do we need two different modes?

There are many diffrences between the Arabic language and English language. For example, letter case, punctuation and elharakat in Arabic language. Because of that I created a special system for each language.

The diffrences are in the results sections in both languages. In the English mode you can see "Lettescase" results which mean "upper & lower case" letters, but the Arabic language doesn't have this property. Also, in Arabic mode you'll find 'Elharakat section', but the English language doesn't have this property. This is the main diffrence between these two modes.

Input & Options

Input

When you want to count the data of the text you have to put the text that you want count its data in "text area" at the left. You also can type anything directly and you will see the results at the right.

Options

This application has many tools that can help you like:

  • Results options:
    • This tool provides you with the ability to control results. You can choose "deleted words" those are the words that you don't want to count. Also, you can choose "deleted characters" those are the characters that you don't want to count. These options are above the results boxes.
  • Text control
    • By this tool you can change the color and size of the text, and you can clear the text that you have entered. These options are at the top of the box that is on the left.
  • Text transform
    • This tool provides you with the ability to change text case between upper and lower case and you can set text case as "capitalize".

Results & Counting

Results

This application counts many things in texts and provides you with their results.

  • Words
    • In this section of the results you'll find how many words you have inserted.
  • Letters
    • In this box you will find how many letters you have entered in your text.
  • Spaces
    • In this section you will find how many sapaces your text has.
  • Characters
    • In this section of the results you will find how many characters you have entered like letters and spaces.
  • Lines
    • In this section you will find how many lines your text has.
  • punctuations
    • In this section you will find how many punctuation you have entered in your text.

Counting

This application is powerd by high technology. And all results are processed accurately.

  • Words
    • Every word with more than one letter is counted as a word. You can un-count words with less than two or three letters by the options that are above the results. Anything else that doesn't consist of letters is not counted as a word.
  • Letters
    • In this results box the application counts letters only. Anything that is not a letter will not be counted here.
  • Spaces
    • In this section the application will count spaces only. Anything that is not a space will not be counted here.
  • Characters
    • In this section of results the application will count all character that you have entered like letters, spaces and punctuation. And you can un-count spaces or lines by the options that are above the rersults.
  • Lines
    • In this section the application will count the lines that your text has.
  • Punctuation
    • In this section the application will count how many punctuation you have entered like commas, periods, question marks and colons.

Buttons

Buttons

From the tools that are provided in this application are "Buttons" those help you in controlling the page.

  • Dark theme button Dark theme
    • This button is in the side menu at the top left of the page. And it toggle the theme color of the application which will protect your eyes at night and maybe you like that theme. It changes to the Light theme when you click on it, and when you click on this button you will get back to the light theme again.
  • Change color button Change color
    • This button is in the main section of the counter. And it changes the color color in the text area. It changes between four colors: red, yellow, blue and default color.
  • Reset button Reset button
    • This button is next to the color button. And it will clear the text that is in the text area once you click on it . When you double click it you will reset all settings for the text area like the color and size.
  • Change size button Change color
    • This button is next to the reset button. And it changes the size of the text in the text area. It changes the size between three sizes: 18px, 16px and 14px.
  • Copy button Copy button
    • This button is in the top right of main input box. And it copy informations of the text that you entered.
  • Accounts icons Facebook account Instagram account Twitter account
    • These icons are in the last section of the page and it takes you to my ( the person who developed this application) social media accounts.

Addvance section

What is this?

This section is where you'll find the advanced results which maybe you'll want to see or not. I have put them in this section to not make you confused. You can open this section by clicking on its tab right below the main section, and you can close it by clicking on its tab again.
